DF FOOTBALL ACADEMY PROGRAM TERM 2 2025
The DF FOOTBALL Academy program offers players consistent, ongoing training throughout the school terms that provide an insight into what a professional football session involves.
Players are assessed throughout the terms and placed in adequate groups for their skill level. We pride ourselves in allowing players express themselves and be creative whilst ensuring high-quality, challenging sessions for all participants, ensuring that players are training in an environment which provides optimum conditions for personal and technical development.
TALENT IDENTIFICATION; Head Coach & Founder Diogo Ferreira has a broad knowledge & understanding on what an all round talented footballer looks like.
With his past and present roles in professional football, he will ensure that each footballer with a high potential is guided down the correct path to play at a level where their quality belongs.
EACH SESSION INVOLVES;
30 min of ball mastery & on pitch physical development;
Strength, speed exposure & agility
Ball Manipulation
Movement
Explosiveness
Plyometrics
Flexibility & mobility
Injury Prevention
1 hour football session with a specific focus each week. By the end of term we will have covered every single aspect of the game.

TOURNAMENTS —
Excited to announce that from 2025, we have introduced a new system for our academy program and linking each term to a specific tournament.
Everyone of our academy players will be eligible for selection to represent us in the chosen tournament. This aims to provide each player with a sense of purpose, the opportunity to train towards a goal and play for DF FOOTBALL.

DF FOOTBALL jersey is now compulsory for all Academy sessions.
Other DF Football apparel is optional.
Players are required to purchase a DF Football jersey from our apparel store via Ultra Football (link in top menu) OR they can be purchased at our HQ on Saturday Academy Days only.
