With his experience of playing in many different continents and against some of the world’s best players throughout his career, Diogo simply wants to pass on as much knowledge as he can to the next generation.

In Australia, even the most elite NPL junior programs only allow for three nights of training a week. That simply is not enough, particularly when compared with the elite footballing programs in Europe and closer to home in Asia.

Diogo understands the pressures on youth footballers overseas as he left Australia at the young age of 15. He understands that for Australian footballers to succeed overseas, they need to be vastly superior to the local talent they will compete against.
