WITH GIACOMO MORETTI

An experienced goalkeeper coach with a distinguished playing career from the young age of 14 signing with SS Lazio Youth Academy. Then signing his first professional contract at the young age of 16 for SS Lazio in Serie A. Giacomo appeared in the Europa League under the guidance of Maurizio Sarri and also represented the Italian Junior National Team in various tournaments. He later played senior football with Monterosi Tuscia and Aglianese Calcio.

Giacomo’s coaching expertise has been shaped by his experiences at the prestigious ImParando Academy, one of the most renowned goalkeeping academies in Italy having trained with some of the best goalkeepers/coaches like Pepe Reina.

Giacomo brings a powerful combination of intelligence to DF FOOTBALL holding a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and a Diploma in Sports Economics, and applying his unique blend of scientific and economic knowledge to drive success!

TALENT IDENTIFICATION

Head Coach & Founder Diogo Ferreira has a broad knowledge & understanding on what an all round talented footballer looks like. With his past and present roles in professional football, he will ensure that each footballer with a high potential is guided down the correct path to play at a level where their quality belongs.

EACH SESSION INVOLVES

30 min of ball mastery & on pitch physical development; footwork is just as important for all modern day goalkeepers OR super young goalkeepers who my decide to move out of goals in future. • Strength, speed exposure & agility • Ball Manipulation •Movement • Explosiveness • Plyometrics • Flexibility & mobility • Injury Prevention

1 hour goalkeeping session with a specific focus each week

TOURNAMENTS

All of our academy players will be eligible for selection to represent us in chosen tournaments throughout the year. This aims to provide each player with a sense of purpose, the opportunity to train towards a goal and play for DF FOOTBALL ACADEMY.
