ELITE ACADEMY PROGRAM
The DF FOOTBALL Elite Academy Program offers players consistent, ongoing training throughout the school terms that provide an insight into what a professional football session involves.
Players are assessed throughout the terms and placed in adequate groups for their skill level. We pride ourselves in allowing players express themselves and be creative whilst ensuring high-quality, challenging sessions for all participants, ensuring that players are training in an environment which provides optimum conditions for personal and technical development.
TALENT IDENTIFICATION
Head Coach & Founder Diogo Ferreira has a broad knowledge & understanding on what an all round talented footballer looks like. With his past and present roles in professional football, he will ensure that each footballer with a high potential is guided down the correct path to play at a level where their quality belongs.
TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE
We’re proud to share that Diogo has recently been appointed Assistant Coach to John Aloisi at Chengdu Rongcheng FC in China - an exciting and well-deserved milestone that reflects his coaching quality, leadership, and expertise.
Diogo will continue as Head of DF Football, overseeing the academy’s football direction, methodology, and long-term planning from afar.
To support our day-to-day operations, we’re have welcomed former Ajax Academy, Melbourne Victory, and Western United professional Sebastian Pasquali as our On-Ground Technical Director.
Sebastian brings elite playing experience, strong coaching knowledge, and a philosophy closely aligned with DF Football. He will work closely with our established coaching team to maintain our high standards and player-first development approach.
With Diogo remaining actively involved and Sebastian leading on the ground, we are confident in continuing to deliver a consistent, professional, and high-quality environment for all players.
EACH SESSION INVOLVES
30 min of ball mastery & on pitch physical development —
•Strength, speed exposure & agility • Ball Manipulation • Movement • Explosiveness • Plyometrics • Flexibility & mobility • Injury Prevention
1 hour football session with a specific focus each week. By the end of term we will have covered every single aspect of the game.

TOURNAMENTS
All of our academy players will be eligible for selection to represent us in chosen tournaments throughout the year. This aims to provide each player with a sense of purpose, the opportunity to train towards a goal and play for DF FOOTBALL ACADEMY. These players will be selected by us & no trials will be held.
